Storybook Lady Charitable Foundation Brings Stories to Life for Visually Impaired Children

SANTA ANA, CA., August 6, 2008- "Telling Stories for Life" was demonstrated when the Storybook Lady Charitable Foundation in partnership with KPMG’s Family for Literacy program, brought stories to life for the children at Blind Children's Learning Center, Santa Ana, CA. This collaborative venture provided positive role models; demonstrated an  understanding of others who have different experiences; and exercised imagination skills.

The storybooks read, were gifted to the children in order to share the magic with siblings and other family members at home.

Storybook Lady Charitable Foundation Brings Authors to Students at        Adams Elementary & Kaiser Elementary Schools

COSTA MESA, CA., March 6, 2008- Storybook Lady Charitable Foundation, in    collaboration with the Adams Elementary PTA and the Kaiser Elementary PFO, brings children's storybook authors and illustrators to the students. Students learn first-hand about how writers make choices, how to tie words and pictures together to create a story, and participate in question & answer sessions with presenters.
